Starbuzz E-hookah review

Starbuzz exotic blue mist e-hookah

This is a new product out by Starbuzz. Its a disposable e-cigarette which features  some exotic flavors from their shisha flavors. Contains 12mg nicotine and supposedly 500 puffs.

My take on the product. Lets start with the positive:

Flavor: The flavor is very spot on with the flavor of the blue mist shisha. Im assuming its the same with the other flavors. From what Ive been told is the other flavors are good as well. It may start to taste harsh because youre ripping it too often/too strong and you forget its vapor not smoke. 5/5

Cons:
Components and function: Drags are taken via pressing a button and inhaling. Parts are pretty cheap and lack in quality and longevity. I know its a disposable product but compared to whats out there on the market right now for the same price cough cough blu disposable e-cigs these are sub par. As far as longevity this product lasted for a day and then it died. As far as 500 puffs, I definitely did not receive. In fact it made me question if mine was defective. I contacted starbuzz and received no reply which leads me to two ratings.
Components: 3/5
Starbuzz tobacco customer service: 0/5

Buzz: It has a little bit of nicotine which is the typical default dose of ecig nicotine: 12mg. Rating: 3/5

Product overall: Overall I would recommend this and I do like it but I wish it lasted longer. I may purchase again. I am disappointed with starbuzz as a company. Overall: 3/5

How to set up your hookah pipe

Alright so its been a while since I last posted, I'm smoking some Nakhla sweet melon mixed with some Starbuzz berry type mix. I wanted to share with you the best way of setting up hookah in my opinion.

1. Base/Vase. First thing you want to do is obviously fill the base with water so that the stem is submerged about 1 inch. You could put some ice in it too just be aware that its going to raise your water level and give a stronger pull which is not what you want.

2. Hose. So a main thing that can alter your hookah smoking experience in a big way is the hose you use. There's a lot of good ones that are similar. What I'm talking about are hoses like nammor, narbish, and razan. The Khalil Mamoon hose will do the job as well. basically you want a thicker hose and preferably washable. You can also stick your hose in the freezer while your setting it up.

3. Bowl. The best bowls I've found are the classic clay Egyptian bowls. These are the ones that come with any Egyptian hookah you buy such as a Khalil Mamoon. Mod bowls get too hot, I've tried a funnel bowl but I couldn't get good air flow. Vortex I haven't tried just because I'm skeptical and the Egyptian bowl does the trick fine, so why fix something that isn't broken. If you're trying to smoke overly juicy tobaccos or tobacco such as Tangiers you're going to want to use a vortex or funnel bowl. You just have to master the way to set it up.

4. Tobacco. Pick a good tobacco with the flavor of your choice. See my recommendations if you need help. If you don't know what to buy you can look at my list of what brands I recommend  For the most part you wont go too wrong with mainstream brands like Starbuzz or Al Fakher. Some brands you want to stay clear of because they're complete garbage.

5. Foil. The best way to set up the foil, I've found, is to use one sheet of heavy duty aluminum and poke a ton of holes with a pin. If you don't have these materials you can double foil a cheaper aluminum foil and if you don't have a pin you can use a toothpick. The smaller the holes the better.

6. Coal. The best coal to use are the natural coconut husk coals such as Cocnara, Chronic Coals, Gaia, or similar. If you don't have these you can use another natural coal but they wont last as long as the coconut. I don't recommend using flint coal or instant light coals, they're full of chemicals and alter the taste of smoke.

And that's basically it, just experiment with the technique until you master it to your preference. Use good products and you'll get better quality smoke.

Al-Waha Mango Molasses

Cut: Medium Al-Fakher-like cut.

Smell: Pleasant sweet mango.

Taste: Tastes like mango, but not too sweet. Good taste.

Smoke: Good clouds. More heat sensitive than Nakhla so be cautious.

Rating: 7.5/10 I don't had much experience smoking Al-Waha, but its comparable to Al-Fakher. I wouldn't say its as good or better but still pretty decent stuff. As for the flavor, its actually a good mango flavor. Ive had other mango that tasted like dried mango's or spiced mango, this ones a pretty solid flavor.

Nakhla Lemon

Cut: Typical medium chunky Nakhla cut. Stemy.

Smell: Smells like lemon.

Taste: Not bad.

Smoke: Takes heat pretty well. Decent clouds.

Rating: 7/10 Not much to say about it. Decent lemon, gets old after a while. Better idea would be to mix it with other flavors.

Nakhla Mizo Raspberry

Part of the Nakhla Mizo Line.

250g for 9.99$ as it says. Typical price, never pay more than that for Nakhla.

Cut: Typical medium chunky Nakhla cut, bunch of stems. JUICY.

Smell: Smells like berries.

Taste: Tastes like it smells more or less. Taste isn't exactly spot on but that's okay.

Smoke: Takes heat pretty well. Good clouds.

Rating: 8/10 Pretty decent flavor. Pretty sweet, pretty good. Good tobacco, try it out.

Nakhla Mizo Grape

Part of the Nakhla Mizo Line.

Cut: Typical medium chunky Nakhla cut, bunch of stems. Juicy.

Smell: Smells like grape? Smells weird. Grape-ish.

Taste: Tastes like it smells more or less. I don't really like it.

Smoke: Takes heat pretty well. Medium clouds.

Rating: 6/10 Eh I don't know. Just not feeling the flavor. Smoke is good but flavor is blah. Grape is a weird flavor but I much prefer black grape. I don't recommend this but that's just my opinion, its still part of the Mizo line which is excellent.

Nakhla Mizo Watermelon

Part of the Nakhla Mizo Line.

Cut: Typical medium chunky Nakhla cut, bunch of stems. Extremely juicy.

Smell: Smells like watermelon. Very pungent and sweet. Smells like Jolly Ranchers.

Taste: Tastes like it smells more or less. Extremely sweet, and delicious.

Smoke: Takes heat well. Good fluffy clouds.

Rating: 9/10 Extremely tasty and sweet. Another too sweet flavor. Still good if you can handle it. It will kick your butt. Recommend picking this up.

Nakhla Mizo Mint Molasses

Part of the Nakhla Mizo Line.

Cut: Typical medium chunky Nakhla cut, bunch of stems. JUICY as the mizo line is.

Smell: OOwww weee. Very strong menthol. Would not recommend smelling this straight it will punch you in the face lol.

Taste: Mint. What more is there to say, its like a breeze in your lungs.

Smoke: Takes heat pretty well. Typical Nakhla clouds.

Rating: 9/10 Probably one of the best mints out there, another being Al Fakher mint. Very strong, not much to say its just mint. This is definitely a mixer. I would not recommend smoking a bowl of this straight, its just too much.

Nakhla Sweet Melon

Cut: Typical medium chunky Nakhla cut, bunch of stems. Very juicy for being on the normal line.

Smell: Smells like melon. Very pungent and sweet. Smells like Jolly Ranchers.

Taste: Tastes like it smells more or less. Its not like cantaloupe though. Extremely sweet, but delicious.

Smoke: Takes heat well. Good fluffy clouds.

Rating: 9/10 This flavor is definitely on the top 10 Nakhla flavors. Extremely tasty to the point where its kinda over whelming. Too sweet for me and I have a sweet tooth. Definitely still worth it though. Pick this up for sure.

Nakhla Mango Molasses

Cut: Typical medium chunky Nakhla cut, bunch of stems.

Smell: Smells like dried out mangoes. Not really a sweet tobacco.

Taste: Tastes like it smells more or less.

Smoke: Takes heat pretty well. Clouds are eh. Taste is less than decent.

Rating: 5/10 Blehh. Not really liking it. It would be nicer if it was sweeter or more on the spicy side like other mangoes. Reminds me a lot of their apricot which, in my opinion, is crap. Skip this flavor.

Nakhla Cherry Molasses

Cut: Typical medium chunky Nakhla cut. Lots of stems.

Smell: Smells like dark cherries, kinda smells like cough medicine cherry a bit.

Taste: Tastes like it smells more or less.

Smoke: Takes heat pretty well. Medium clouds. Taste is decent.

Rating: 5/10 Nothing too special, I would say if you like cherry as a flavor then try it, otherwise I wouldn't recommend it. It would probably be good as a mixer, but then again that's how most Nakhla is.

Do not recommend.
Would not purchase again.
