IM BACK GUYS!!

Heyy everyone, I'm back!! Here's another post, hookah setup, old school, just like we always used to do it. Put your coals on the stove and Let's get started. How to setup your hookah and bowl, let's go!
Tonight's setup: classic funnel bowl, Fumari White Peach (one of my all-time favorites, definitely recommend), and two layers of foil -- because its the cheap thin stuff. No different than usual, shiny side down and sprinkle the tobacco in the bowl.
don't forget to mix the tobacco with the juices before packing. Now you're going to want to lay something down because this is going to get a little messy and it always spills over save yourself the household of cleaning up the mess by putting down some newspaper or other item that you could just quickly fold up and discard afterwards.
So we sprinkled the tobacco into the bowl let's not be so meticulous about it just don't overpack it and definitely don't push it down.
Tightly like a drum we don't want any air to escape. Now you can use a toothpick but I prefer a pin or needle as it makes smaller holes and just seems to work better with a funnel bull setup. With a standard Egyptian clay bowl I would probably do the same thing, it's just about personal preference. We just need some good airflow through the bowl in order to get a good smoking session.
I used a pin for these holes but the pin itself was pretty thick so it came out the same as if I would use a toothpick. I typically like to use a needle and get smaller holes, but like I said before let's not be too meticulous about it it's not a big deal.
now if you followed instructions in the beginning you should have your coals about ready by now. As far as coals you're going to want to use a natural coconut coal or similar. Absolutely do not use instant coals -- those should be only used for incense in my opinion, not hookah. Now if you have an old school electric coil stove that is going to work better than a more modern gas stove like I have here but the gas stove will still do the trick it's all about the technique.
I'm not going to recommend that you do what I'm doing here using the hookah ashtray to deliver your calls to the hookah but I live on the edge and I'm just going to carry these without an oven mitt but if you do this use an oven mitt -- the coals will heat up the metal tray faster than you know it, so hurry up and dont drop the coals through the center (use a better carrier lol).
I'm not going to cover the rest of the hookah setup in this post but hopefully you have that set up already all you really need to know is have the stem going in about one to one and a half inches into the water. The important thing is to make sure you have good gourmets and that they are tightly fitted so there is no air escaping or coming in through the ports.
Now listen this is very important:
You need to be patient. You need to let the coals sit on the bowl for 5 minutes. The other important thing is that the coals need to be completely read hot before smoking (or taking any sort of draw for that matter). Do not smoke the hookah with coals that are still partially black (unlit).

And that's it! Enjoy your hookah!! Have a good night, thanks for reading.
